Saturday morning training
Saturday mornings these days begin with a leisurely family breakfast before a mad rush to get W dressed, into the car and to her music on time. This morning was no exception but the upside was that I was not playing chauffeur which meant A and I had about 4 hours for an adventure.
I asked him what he would like to do. He replied, somewhat predictably, "Go on a trwbwbwbwain?". Not a typo; he hasn't learned to roll his R's so does this lovely substitute sound - a bubbly "bwbwbwbwbw" like you would to blow bubbles in the bath.
OK. A trip into Glasgow to do something...except, the trains were all messed up due to the weather. So that was off the cards and despite repeated attempts at informing him of this, he kept asking sweetly,
"Go on a trwbwbwbwain?".
There was no other option but to build our own so we constructed this lean locomotive and off we went. He drove of course as I was busy documenting the journey.
