Harlequin Duck

Went back again today with tripod and longest lens, and was lucky to find the young man in a place much closer to land.  Here he is, having climbed out of the water, fluffed up to try to keep out the wind.  He must have been wondering what all the idiots with telescopes and cameras were doing standing around in the howling gale, just to watch him.
