Sometimes I wonder

The wind raged through the night, the only damage found so far is to the back porch, which was "tender" as repairs not carried out as it will go when the extension is done. It was "beater day " ( when the providers for the season get to be "the guns") so I dosed myself and set forth into the gale.
The morning also bought  a text from Royal Mail to say they would attempt to deliver a tracked package. A feel hours later I received a second say they had delivered and left it in " my safe place", as I remarked to a fellow gun I wonder where that is!
The day was very challenging for us part time guns. We scrambled down some of the wind powered birds.
