Rhubarb, rhubarb. rhubarb!

First rhubarb and orange pie of the year.
Always tastes the best.
Here is a photo of the pie I blipped a few years ago.

The wind has been whistling down the chimney, the branches have been bowing low, and we only ventured outside to buy the Yorkshire Post.

Just the sort of afternoon to spend in the warmth of the kitchen, doing a spot of baking.
So for tea it was Spanish style chicken with cannellini beans and rice, rhubarb and orange pie,and  a couple of glasses of rioja.
Feeling quite full!

Tomorrow is marmalade making day.
Decided not to go on a walk as the weather sounds awful. Wet, windy, and paths full of mud!
