View from the Bluff

This one is for EvelyneNC, who after seeing my picture from Jan. 4th. asked me if I'd ever taken a picture from the end of the path that was pictured in that shot. I told her I'd taken many pictures from there, but hadn't ever posted one taken from this exact spot. So here's the view from up on the bluff at the end of the path! If you look to the horizon it looks like there are clouds touching the Lake, but it's actually steam rising off the water. You can also see--closer to shore--the large chunks of ice that are starting to form! There IS a beach down there, but it's covered in snow & ice at the moment!    :)
