Walking. And sore fingers.
I went on a walk with the ramblers association and lunch was in Ashdon. This is Ashdon windmill. The early driving rain and wind gave way to blue skies with the raw wind chasing the clouds away. Boy was it hard going in the mud. I logged 10 miles on my fitbit ( newly purchased on Monday) which I then realised I'd left in my trouser pocket when I loaded the washing machine when I got home. I tried to open the door mid cycle but no luck so on reading the manual realised there was an emergency override which involved a lever on the front panel. Accessing the panel was interesting as since my new kitchen floor has been laid the plinth is tricky to remove. I called in the heavy mob ( eldest son) who with brute force and jemmying managed to pull out the plinth. In the process he shut my fingers in the dishwasher door. Don't ask. They are now throbbing painfully .I have been icing them with a bag of frozen cranberries... once I'd picked them all up off the kitchen floor when I dropped the bag. The good news is the fitbit is fine! And its my left hand!
