Clearing up..

The electric came back on briefly at 11am today, with 110 volts, then off for another hour, returning with full power.

A big thank you to the SSE Engineers for the work they have put in to restore our supply.

Now time to start clearing up, and getting back to normal. Phone calls to the Insurance and solar panel installers. Phone calls to family and friends to let them know were OK.

It's still too windy to go clearing glass up (I did do a couple of buckets yesterday so that Tanni was safe). The shards of glass on the greenhouse are hanging like curtains, and blowing in the stiff breeze. Tomorrow's forecast is better, before another storm on Monday.

Now the electric is back, I'm off to have a shave, and looking forward a shower tonight..
