After weeks of looking forward to my London holiday I arrived into King's Cross Station realising I had left behind my ideas list & had little idea what I wanted to do. I wondered around the station for a while looking for some inspiration but to no avail.

Being a bit cake obsessed, I remembered an article that had popped up on Twitter about cake places to try. So it was off to Primrose Bakery for a cuppa & cake. The bakery is in Covent Garden so, feeling revived, I was soon on my way - wandering London's somewhat still Christmassy streets. Just delightful!

After a few hours of strolling it was lovely to then make my way to Ruth's flat for dinner & spend an evening chatting with that sweet friend before settling down for the night.

It felt good to be back!
