Cross Country

I have forgotten about this event for the last couple of years, and by the time we got out of the house after the morning mini-adventure and lunch , there was just the senior women's race left.  I would have stayed until the end, despite the snow, mud and howling gale, but we now know we can safely add Cross-country races in January to the very short list of baby-unfriendly activities.

Hats off to the runners - it was utterly miserable.  It was some kind of complicated team event, with USA winning in the end.

Well-deserved hot chocolate after.  

This is not what I had hoped for, but nice to have a change anyway.
