Finish Line

This is taken when I was on my way home - there were still people finishing.  When I crossed the line, it was almost invisible due to an incredibly heavy hail shower with gusting wind.  It made a change from the sleet and snow mind.

In spite of the weather, I achieved my goals of running the whole way (even the steepest parts of the hill) and finishing in under 30 minutes - I actually ran it in 27:38.

After crossing the line I immediately had to hide under a space blanket to escape the hail, then try not to slip on my ass as I walked across the across the incredibly muddy grass to get out of the park.
