Living dangerously

This morning I dragged myself, reluctantly, out of bed for my first early morning Saturday golf game for the year!  As usual it turned out to be a fun day - great weather, good company, good golf and lots of laughs.
When one sees a red flag anywhere on the course it indicates that a Blacksmith Plover, or Crowned Plover is nesting, and one avoids disturbing the nesting bird - the male bird can be quite aggressive and dive bomb you if he thinks you are too close. 
They usually nest in the rough but this pair of Blacksmith Plovers are on the fairway - my ball landed near the nest.
I worry that a ball will hit her - I think she needs a barrier erected around her!  I look forward to seeing the chicks soon (hopefully)
