In the Spotlight
Today the family and I arrived in Auckland. We were met by my parents, and we headed up to their beach house at Snell's Beach. Almost immediately on arriving I walked around the side of the house to photograph one of the roses my mother is very pleased with (the photo ended up bad, and ditched; I'll try again). I arrived at the back of the house, walked towards the cliff edge, and saw a Tui flit up into the tree. Snap-snap-snap! I'm very pleased, as these are not the most obliging of birds; I'm also very pleased with the way the prevening sun has placed it seemingly in the spotlight. :)
