Can't see the wood for the trees
Was in Leeds for a meeting this afternoon so came home by a completely different route to normal, and stopped off at Chellow Dean, a small woodland outside Bradford, for a 5 minute walk with my camera.
My wife (unaware of this) drove past Chellow Dean going home from visiting a friend in hospital in Bradford, and couldn't believe her eyes to see my car in the carpark - I had a bit of explaining to do!
Anyway, the woods were a mass of bright green. Full of young saplings that had grown to about 6 foot, beneath the towering birches and beeches. They won't last for ever, but gave an impression of impenetrable leaves.
