Southern Sunset

We took off from Heathrow Airport, London, about 4.30pm, a little later than planned, destined for Mauritius. About 15 minutes later we were met with a beautiful red sunset.

I pre-booked the seats at the back of the wing as I quite like the wing in the picture as it aids composition: It's also the strongest part of the plane in case of any sudden impact!

The blip photo shows the sunset over the South of England with the wing I mentioned. A good and unexpected start to the holiday.
