Solidarité

As I was driving to Susan Gilmour this morning I was listing on the radio to the news of the final stages of the sieges in Paris.  I have just seen some images on the news and it reminded me of the recent events in Sydney and the shock and fear in the faces of the hostages escaping.  The world is a much smaller place these days and we (or at least I feel we) have a sense of community and so those events effect us all.   I am heartened by the rallies and support for democracy and freedom.  There is a lot of good in the world and I am sure it will prevail.
