Stuffed!!
This was the wheel on the boat trailer this morning. New hubs etc now on order!! The salt water eventually wins every time.
We finally found our old cat Boofhead, who was blipped on 5th January. He was about 16 years old, and only weighed 2.650kg, (I had only weighed him a few days before he went missing) but he still ate, and wasn't in any pain & ruled the other 2 cats. His other habit, was to sit on the bench where we fed him, and sink his claws in, if you didn't fed him fast enough!
We hadn't seen him since the morning of the 6th, and have been trying to find him ever since. We had a feeling that he may have gone off to die, and it proved correct when we were walking back along the road, and there was smell. There was a culvert that runs under the road, and we found him in there. He looked very peaceful and now rests between the Lime and Lemon trees by the drive way.
He is the last of the 3 animals that we have 'inherited" over the years from my son. First we had his Foxy, Scrub who lived until she was 17 years, then Texas a 3/4 English Bull Terrior & 1/4 Labrador dog who lasted until she was 16 years old, then Boofhead, just a lovely old cat.
My son, once said to one of his mates, that if he went to live in Australia, he would send his dogs & cat (this was another lot!!) to the "Sounds Retirement Home for Animals"! His mate wanted to know where that was, C replied,
"At Mum & PJ's!" Luckily for us, he didn't move to Australia.
RIP Boofhead.
