Rose Street

Another dull damp day but I was determined to get some fresh air and I needed to do some shopping, after noticing the Met Office is predicting the temperatures dropping again next week I decided I had better get myself some gloves, I lost my other gloves while Xmas shopping last year (2013) but as the winter was mild I survived. This year my poor wee paws have been feeling the cold while out with my camera, I must be getting old! Anyway, I now think the phrase "fits like a glove" is BS, I tried on almost every variety of glove in Tiso but apparently I have short fingers or to be more precise the rest of the population are freaks with very long fingers. I finally got a pair that aren't too bad and should keep my paws warm and dry, that didn't cost a ridiculous amount of money.

Buoyed with my success I then set out to get some new boots, hoping to get a pair on sale, again I found that the rest of the population are freaks, this time with teeny narrow feet! I tried on 6 different pairs of boots in 3 separate shops, I couldn't even get my feet into a couple of them. :-( Dejected and beaten I went for a beer, before returning home.  

Today's photo is a shot of Rose Street I took after leaving the Tiso shop, as you can see it was fairly quiet, mid-afternoon.
