The BBQ When Liam Fell

We had discovered a quiet area near Manor Park to have a BBQ. It was the garden of an abandoned house. I was there with Oli (in the photo), Becky (who had returned after dropping out), Feargus and Liam.

It was going great, tasty BBQ from my bucket, drinks, no-one else around, until Liam decided to climb a tree... he fell. This was hilarious at first. After an hour or so we asked him to get up, and he couldn't. Just couldn't. Starting to worry, he tried again, causing huge pain i his back. We had to call an ambulance and despite being 3 minutes walk from it took half an hour to reach us. They gave Liam oxygen and got him to walk (?!) to the ambulance.

It turned out his back was broken! He ended up leaving early for Scotland and spending a lot of the summer in a back brace in bed.
