Bridge in the Glen

In the wilder part of what is officially known as Pittencrieff Park.
It once, along with Pittencrieff House, belonged to colonel James Maitland Hunt, and was bought in 1902 by Andrew Carnegie, who gave it to the people of Dunfermline a year later; all 76 acres of it. As town parks go, it's beyond impressive!

Somewhere in my head is the information that Carnegie did it because he couldn't stand Maitland Hunt, but I've no idea where that came from. Maybe I imagined it.
