Half empty or half full?

It's quite clearly, completely empty.

I love my children (just thought I'd get that out in the open).

However I'm not best pleased with JJ.

As per yesterday's post he came home from nursery with a temperature and a lot of crying.

He went to bed okay, but at 11 he awoke me crying. Up I went to give him some water. All relatively normal.

Until, he kept crying and then he told me he'd been sick.

I stripped his bed, but the spare sheets are in C's room; so rather than disturbing him, I let JJ sleep in between wifey and me.

He was like the cuddliest / warmest hot water bottle on the planet; but also the fidgiest.

As a result; neither wifey or me got much in the way of sleep.

C had his regular visit to the dental hospital today, and JJ was far to hot/sick to even consider sending him into nursery.

So she got C, and I got JJ.

All attempts to get him to lie down for a nap failed, until he completely failed to eat any pasta and pesto for lunch.

So I took him upstairs and all it took was 3 minutes of him lying down before he was fast asleep.

Didn't last long though, and less than an hour later he was crying for medicine (Calpol!)

He's in bed now (since just after 6), but not sure how long it will last.

Just gone 9 now, and once I finish my beer, I'll be off to bed.

Children - don't you just love 'em?
