Urban Avenue

Spent the day looking after Zion at a retreat across the city in Selly Oak, so my daughter and son-in-law could attend the meetings without distraction. In the morning, took him for a walk around part of the Bournville Village (set up in 1900 by the Quaker, George Cadbury).

The wind was scary and I tried to stay out from under trees, but these looked pretty sturdy; also rescued a few recycling boxes from the middle of the road.

Never ceases to amaze me how there's so much natural beauty right in the middle of British cities - the bus stop is on the Bristol Road.
