A dull lull
Things weren’t too frantic last night as the highest wind speed recorded at the HQ was 82 mph. It also helped that the aert of wind was slightly north of west which meant the polytunnel survived. However occupants of Creel HQ spent from 4.18 a.m. until 6.15 a.m under the covers and either listening to Jarvis Cocker narrate his Wireless Nights or reading a Kindle. We found it impossible to sleep in the roar of the wind. Hot drinks were off, as was the hydro. Another day for Blipping from inside the porch. It would be difficult to sell anyone a holiday on Cava in these conditions.
