World music

A wondeful tour of music from around the world at school with a concert featuring Bruneian dancer, Nigerian singing, Russian singers, a Korean pianist, Japanese drummer, a bagpiper. There was also a fascinating expert in world music who brough a played a variety of great musical instruments. I unfortunately ca't remember the name of this kind of xylophone, which had interesting round pots hanging under it, presumable to have an effect on the sound. It sounded lovely and looked mystical too.
