So, the veggie patch has been a random planting of things here & there as a whimsical experiment in gardening .... came back after Xmas to a stressed out patch.  Everything had doubled in size & begun bearing fruit (without watering, plants stress & thus reproduce - whilst there is an abundance of produce, its unhealthy & they may not grow to term). 

I found myself in Bunnings today looking for more to fill the gaps (in particular a kafir lime tree). I also found myself in Dymocks & stumbled across this book. Ive seen the boys in action on TV & thought they were rather clever & easy to understand. Delightfully their book is the same.

So, this afternoon I've added some onions to my strawberry pot & put the leeks in next to the carrots....so much to learn, so little space to apply it.
