The view from the front

More interesting day....starting with walking down in early sunlight to a meeting at the Parliament which went well, followed by walk up to work in pouring rain afterwards, then off to Glasgow to attend a conference. The session I was due to contribute to was a bit of a shambles so my spot got moved to a predinner speech (not what I was planning!). This was the view of the room as I started. Enjoyed talking to some interesting people from USA, Italy and within the Society, and had a great ceilidh after the dinner. The night was very disrupted by terrible noises from the storms and wind....sounded like the side of the hotel was being stripped off!
