Rope on a Ring

I was driving past Bordeaux harbour today and had a spare 10 minutes, so walked down the slipway and saw this ring a fisherman had stuck into the rock to use to tie his boat up. I really liked the colours of the rope and lichens on the rocks compared to the dull grey of the ring.
