I drove home with Sebastian today.  He talked non-stop to Hanmer turn-off then fell asleep right through to Maruia.  I pulled in at Lake Daniells turn off thinking we'd have a walk and stretch and take some photos of him in the long grass.  Nope!  He continued to sleep even when I got out of the van.

Fortunately this wee tom tit came and perched on a branch so I was able to take his photo before getting back in the van and journeying on.

We stopped at my friend's house at Maruia to meet her new great dane puppy, then headed on home.  I began unpacking the van while Sebastian began playing with his toy car-wash that lives at my house.  I know who got the better deal here!
