Mildred Kanipe Park

This is from a wonderful park outside of Oakland, Mildred Kanipe Park. I discovered today the walking trails of this 1,100 acre park. I'll go back out there when the skies are blue and it should be great pictures. So much of the park is an homage to these giant, wild old oaks that have been allowed to grow there. I will feature this place again, but in SO many ways this makes me wish for simpler, easier times here in Oakland. Oh, you have NO idea...
