Le Galion
As previously noted, a Jarv couldn't work at sea. To much water and not enough drops to drink. However, the landlubber Jarvis often sets course for the old port district of any given European city, because these generally host some of the finest bars on the continent. Such is certainly the case in Lorient in Brittany. Le Galion is an old seafarer's bar that lost its rambunctious clientele when the port died. Apparently it used to be easier to get into a fight here than it was to order a drink. Six years ago, Jean-Baptiste Pin took the place over, installed a stage and set about creating a rock'n'roll paradise. Old JB loves his Australian rock'n'roll, so many bands from that land have made landfall in Lorient to play the place, and the locals know that such bands DELIVER. Le Galion is a bar worth planning a whole holiday around. C'est magnifique!
