Birdman

Subtitled "the unexpected virtue of ignorance", I really enjoyed this study of the rivalry between Broadway and Hollywood. And the cinematography was terrific - it was one looooong hand-held take. It reminded me of the immersive theatre of Punchdrunk in that respect. Funny, exuberant, cynical and fantastical in equal measure. Joyous.
