Ben Lomond

After the lovely chaos of Christmas with the girls and fun with B's family on boxing day we headed out for some much needed fresh air and exercise! Still on slow after the festivities, we only set of from the car park at 11am. Beautiful bright sunny day, Scotland at its best. Not much snow until 2/3 rds of the way up but the path was extremely icy most of the way.
Was reminded how much I needed new walking boots when I fell on the way back down after skating all over the place.
Had a lovely day with B, our first munro together and we found a very scenic ' table ' for lunch just down from the summit where we enjoyed coffee and banana loaf, looking out over loch lomond. Stunning!
I'm wearing Rosie's sunglass here, having grabbed them ' just in case ' as I left the house - very cool
