One daze at a time...

Freedom of expression (of extreme worry)

for his Neca 9" figure - Pacific Rim - Knifehead with a main right arm that refuses to budge.

A day of worrying indeed.

Luca for his Shark Head*

Me for the state of the Freedom of Speech in Ireland, in particular with the Blasphemy Law enshrined in its constitution.

I remember once posting a joke about a Hare Krishna singing out of tune while shaking his funny little bells... I'm fucked...

On 20 May 2009 at the Bill's committee stage, the section dealing with blasphemy was introduced by Minister for Justice Dermot Ahern as an amendment.[35] Section 36 defines a new offence of "Publication or utterance of blasphemous matter",[36] which carries a maximum fine of €25,000.[36] The offence consists of uttering material "grossly abusive or insulting in relation to matters held sacred by any religion", when the intent and result is "outrage among a substantial number of the adherents of that religion".[36] A defence is permitted for work of "genuine literary, artistic, political, scientific, or academic value".[36] "Religion" excludes profit-driven organisations or those using "oppressive psychological manipulation".[36]

It's a good think I'd be too afraid/too financially diminished to write anything of any kind, whether I believe or not, to be funny or not, that could be construed as blasphemy against any religion.
Especially one that breeds a sub-fringe with loaded Kalashnikovs.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am in receipt of a NECA 9" Figure - Pacific Rim (Knifehead) that I ordered for my kid via your eBay shop.
He was very pleased with the item at first, which he intends to use for a stop motion animation project he is working on.
The figure looks great.
He did get upset however upon realising that the articulation of the main right arm does not work.
I doubt that this is a fault that applies to the whole series, but seems to apply to this specific item. All the other articulations (and there are many!) work fine.
Would you be able to check if that's a fault in design that applies to the whole series, if not we would very much like to have the item exchanged for a fully functional one that he can use for his animation movie project.
Please let me know what the return procedure is.

Thanks and regards,

Raheny_Cornea
