Barnacle Goose, Inverleith Pond

First day back at work after the festive break. As it was a sunny day, and I hadn't been there for a while, I went down to Inverleith Pond to see what the birds were up to.

On the nesting platform a couple of Barnacle Geese were grooming away. Now and again they would stop and look up and managed to get a few photos, and this one is the best of the lot.

After I wandered around the wet garden area, but not much was going on. The ducks and moorhen were doing much the same as the geese, but less elegantly.

Wandered back to the office, still sunny.
