Robin Hoods Bay
A trip to the coast this afternoon. A walk along the old railway line brought us to Boggle Hole. The YHA are currently renovating their hostel and it was interesting watching the challenge of getting materials onto the site. This involved crossing the beach, splashing through the incoming tide and then up to the hostel. The driver of the vehicle needed reassurance that he could fit in another journey before the tide cut the area off completely.
A morning walk would probably have given better light conditions as the light had disappeared by the time we approached Robin Hoods Bay. You can probably see the lights coming on in this shot of the distinctive red pantiled roofs.
