Today I had a Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas everyone!
I spent the morning with Mummy and Daddy opening the gifts I received from them and from Santa. I must have been a very good boy because Santa brought me some lovely gifts. I got a wooden train set, a penguin towel, a money box and some wooden teethers. I enjoyed ripping off all of the paper and seeing how it tasted.
Once we were dresses and I was in my Elf outfit, we went next door to Grannie and Grampie's house. Nain, Taid and Aunty Sian were already there and I had lots of fun opening even more presents and tasting the wrapping paper!
When Aunty Zoe and Uncle Tom arrived it was time for Christmas lunch! I was very excited to see what all the fuss was about because Daddy had been looking forward to this all year! Grannie bought me a special 'First Christmas Dinner' bib and I sat in my highchair at the table and ate my vegetables. I liked the carrot and the parsnip but I really wasn't sure about these strange round green things called Brussel sprouts. But Mummy said that's ok because I won't see another one until next Christmas anyway!
In the afternoon I had a big sleep to sleep off all the Christmas dinner and when I woke up we had even more family that had arrived!
I opened some more lovely gifts and had some play time before retiring to bed to let the grown ups play their party games and eat yet more food in peace.
