Celebrating diversity
Prague's architecture is a true celebration of diversity. This gothic tower, the Powder Tower, stands proudly next to the art nouveau Municipal House, across the road from the neo-classical Hibernian Theatre. Not far away is the frightful pink monstrosity that is the Palladium Shopping Centre.
Everywhere I look, in every part of Prague, architectural wonders catch my eyes. Sometimes it's a small detail on a building; other times it's complex of buildings. When I ask myself why I rarely visit museums, I find myself replying that it's because I live in a city that seems to me to be an open air museum. I'm going to miss it.
Today I looked at some photos of Square Rock in the Brindabellas. I'm going to miss Prague, but I'm going to enjoy revisiting some of my old haunts :) Looking forward.
