An afternoon cycle ride - and walk!

Today it was good to have a day off. I woke to the sound of rain falling and was grateful to be able to just turn over and go back to sleep. However, during the course of the day the rain eased, the sky turned blue and the  sun began to shine. I decided it would be good to go out on the bike which had remained unused since our Summer holiday. After Peter helped me mend a  puncture, I was on my way. It was a lovely afternoon, with time to appreciate the views and take pictures. I was particularly pleased with this one. Towards the end of my route the puncture returned, so I made a stop at Mum and Dads and left my bike there and walked the rest of the way home.
