Promise of things to come

Took this at lunchtime, weather not too bad at that point just a heavy sky weighing us down and some hail storms giving a taste of what's predicted to come our way.

Now its 5pm and pitch black out there with rainy showers against pelting the windows. The fire is lit, stocks of coal and food are laid in and candles are on stand by. All I need now is for everyone to get home for the evening and then I think we'll become cave dwellers for the next couple of days.
