Dates

While wandering through the Santa Monica Farmer's Market, Diane and I came across the wonderful lady selling dates.  Her knowledge of the humble date was amazing....I never realized that there were so many different varieties with a multitude of tastes and textures.  Of course, we filled our bags with wonderful, sweet dates.
