Sometimes

a good old-fashioned pot roast with vegetables, cooked in a cast iron dutch oven really hits the spot. Especially when it's followed with a freshly baked apple pie for dessert. Brought back memories of the meals grandma fixed--my wife's grandma, that is. And, it was delicious.
