Odour free
The house is beginning to smell fresher. A Christmas present from friends was this "distinctive" cheese from Spain. It had to be kept chilled then warmed for 4 - 10 hours before having the rind cut off and the cheese spooned out.
As with many strong smelling cheeses - and this one ranked (deliberate choice of word) at wet hockey goalie kit level - the taste was nowhere as pungent. A clear ewes' milk cheese with a creamy after bite. Very enjoyable.
The rest of the family are pleased that the air is now more fresh!
