It's all about the Zero's!

Today my lovely little car and my Pride and Joy turned 100 000 miles! I actually watched the clock change and pulled over for todays most boring blip - like ever!

But I love my car. Iv had it from brand new, factory made to my specification. It has rarely let me down (except for a few weeks ago when it needed an exhaust gas regeneration valve, like whats featured in the McDonalds add on the radio where the little boy has to clean his dads car for pocket money!).

I seem to have managed 100 000 miles in just 4 and a half years. Thats alot of time spent in that little car!

And how long should we keep the same car???

Mr W would like a new BMW. It would seem sensible for us both to to trade in our Beemers and get a get a new one. Either an X3 or a 3 series Touring. But I cant quite bear to part with mine yet. Not when it means so much to me. Its wrong to be so attached to a lump of metal and it feels strange that I am. But I have sown the seed now and hopefully it will grow into a nice (nearly) new X3!!!

And I feel even worse for my whines of attachement to my car when so many people have just lost loved ones in Paris in mindless atrocities.
