Comforts

When spending a day in front of a computer, on a training course for a relaunched data system, the only saving grace is cake and tea.

Lots of both.

(Which meant 5km run and 30 minutes weights circuit this evening!)



Whilst we were safe, warm and comfortable, people in France were realising the horrific events that occurred at Charlie Hebdo in Paris.  It is deeply un-nerving to know that there are people walking amongst us who see it as their right to respond to any situation with violence, depravity, murder.   
Is it really getting worse, or is that my perception of the world based upon 24 hour a day news coverage?  It feels as though our humanity is being eroded rapidly.
