Cleaning the crockery

We're having a big new year clean of the objects.  

Whilst our giant wall of wonder  looks beautiful and gives a flavour of all the objects in the museum... you can't really give it a quick once over with the Mr Muscle... 
So we've got a crack multidisciplinary team, from preventive conservation, to support services, to specialist freelance art handlers like Zara with a good head for heights...  between them they're painstakingly cleaning the objects using fine brushes with which they gently flick the dust into the hoover to completely remove it from the display.  The frames and cases are being dusted and the glass is being polished. It's going to be beautiful when it's done...
