Pond by night

It was raining hard when I got outside this evening. I couldn't see much on the camera screen in the dark, and it took a while to realise that I'd zoomed the lens to telephoto by mistake. Even when I fixed that, I'm not sure the result is hardly worth the effort. But having spend some time trying to make the best of it, I'm not going out in the rain again, even for blipfoto.

I was saddened by the news from Paris this evening. I fear that each act of violence takes us nearer to the edge of inter-community conflict. I don't see what is going to stop the progression.
