What a miserable day weather-wise!
We have resolved to walk more this year and the hip is now well up for more action. So, with rain coming in at a pretty acute angle, we got all togged up and set off. A full round of the wood at least provided some slight relief from the weather but when we returned home I discovered that my waterproof jacket wasn't and my boots now leak! Rather annoyed about the jacket but those boots have done a good mileage so no real shame to them.
Later, Ali, Euan & Eve were here for dinner and we all enjoyed their company. All in all, a good day!
