British Lion quality mark

It was an early rise for me today - My last day with Anne at West Kirby. She prepared toast and crumpet for me this morning (Last day to have someone prepare my meals for me!) Since she doesnt want me helping her in the kitchen despite my daily insistence, I was always the designated dishwasher.

By 1030am, I was already at Liverpool Lime Street and was roaming around the rainy city centre after dropping my suitcase at the left luggage counter. I walked all the way to the dockyard and I swear I could not remember how the place looked like from when i first visited Liverpool more than 2 years ago. I retreated to Costa and got a warm cuppa after taking several photos of the surrounding (there were a lot of Lambananas around the dockyard! Yes lamb+banana mutation sculpture. Odd huh?!) After quickly drinking my mocha, I hurried towards James Street train station. I saved a few quids from knowing that I can use my ticket from West Kirby to Leam Spa to ride the train from James St to Lime Street.

Now about the blipfoto entry. This is the hand of a bronze sculpture of Bessie Braddock inside Lime Street station. This woman, according to Google, was a Labour MP and apparently responsible for the lion standard mark on British eggs. If you look closely, you could make out a lion marking on the egg. I have not ever encountered an egg with a lion marking so far in my 3 years of purchasing from Tesco. Does this mean that the eggs I have been buying were not of the highest standards? I probably should start looking out for these marks.
