A day of rain and wind but if the forecast is correct we would be happy with todays weather over the weekend. It must be bad as Loganair are giving Friday and Saturday travellers the chance to rebook free of charge in anticipation of the approaching storm.

According to my favourite Norwegian weather forecast for tomorrow we start with a gale all morning heading to strong breeze in the afternoon. Friday - gale in the morning, storm in the afternoon and fresh breeze in the evening
Saturday - gale early morning, violent storm from 6 - 12 and then strong gale to gale in the afternoon.

Orkney as usual would seem to have a worse forecast.
