The Face of War

Drew for the first time in ages today,feels good. Dali's 'Face of War'/ soldier's face 'mash up' demo piece for our new topic on war. Great introductory lesson with the kids, excellent thoughtful and mature responses. Young people get such a bad press for being desensitised to the realities of war- and violence, they proved beyond doubt that it really isn't the case. Learned alot from them today.
Another day where I have felt very privileged to be able to work with them.
