Mid-week beer and takeaway

One of my favourite gifts this Christmas was a beer hamper which G bought me.  It has beers from across the world, many of which I'd struggle to find elsewhere.  He knows me well.

I avoided opening it over the break but tonight I feel it's time to try a bottle.  I've opted for a Flensburger Gold, which Diffords Guide tells me will be dry, crisp and quaffable.  

Oh and I've even managed to convince G we should order takeaway.

It's the small successes that matter!
